Dear Friend,As you may have already heard, I am currently going through any parent's nightmare.In May 2006, my son Brandon intervened to prevent a violent assault against a young family. Brandon was hanging out with his friends James and Renee and their two little ones when a drug-crazed man who was carrying a pocket knife came into the home and became violent. Brandon and James managed to get the man out of the house, but he continued his attack, and was forcing his way in, screaming "I'm going to kill you!" Brandon tried to stop him physically but could not. When there was nothing else he could do, Brandon did the only thing he could think of to save his friend's lives – he ran to his car and grabbed a hunting rifle that they often used for target practice, and shot the man once. James and Renee consider Brandon a hero and credit him with saving their lives and potentially the lives of their children. The man who attacked them was never charged or investigated, and is back in the community.I desperately need your help to get Brandon back the future that was taken from him.
