BLASPHEMOUS CREMATION

About Me

BLASPHEMOUS CREMATION was formed during the "Alberto sa Dredd Part 3" aftermath in the mid 90's at Club Dredd, Km19 EDSA Quezon City, Philippines where the bands NECRODEUS, ABADDON and AROMA was lined up. NECRODEUS made a cover from Cadaver, Hypocrisy and Morbid Angel, ABADDON made a Slayer cover and AROMA covered Napalm Death and Brutal Truth songs. Due to the common inclination to brutal fast music, they formed BLASPHEMOUS CREMATION, a side-project band to cover some songs from the Tampa, Florida band DEICIDE.
The original members are:
JASON AGABAO - Guitars (from the band Aroma)
ARIES NACA - Vocals (from the band Aroma)
WARREN GUEVARRA - Bass
JHAMYL TENERIFE - Guitars (from the band Abaddon)
ALFRED BILOG - Drums (from the band Necrodeus and Ourophobia)
They played some songs of DEICIDE from the "Once upon the Cross" Album (Once Upon the Cross, Behind the Light Thou Shall Rise, They are the Children of the Underworld) and a Grindcore version of Slayer's "Angel of Death". They performed on numerous underground metal gigs, but after a few years, Club Dredd and Yosh Cafe were shut down and this has triggered the Manila Underground Metal Scene, as well as the band, to diminish.
While Blasphemous Cremation became inactive with the metal gigs and rehearsals, the individual members were diverted to their newly formed bands, Alfred became the drummer of the black metal band INCARION, while JHAMYL and ARIES formed the band THIRD ARM and EXTREME RESPONSE.
Then on March 29, 2003 at the Tribute to SLAYER gig at Ards Café in Katipunan Avenue, QC. it became a reunion of the original members of BLASPHEMOUS CREMATION because their respective bands were both lined up on that night. Years came by and the Manila Underground Metal Scene became alive again with metal gigs on almost every weekend, and on February 2005 they decided to revive BLASPHEMOUS CREMATION but this time with Eugene Paul on Bass (former Bassist of MULTIPLE STAB WOUNDS and DEMOGORGON) and Eric on Vocals (former vocalist of EXTREME RESPONSE), they played NAPALM DEATH (I Abstain), TERRORIZER (Dead Shall Rise) covers for a while then they become more rigid with their original compositions.
Since Blasphemous Cremation's resurrection in 2005, they were active on Underground Metal Gigs around Metro Manila.
Here are some of the metal gigs that they have participated:
On December 2006 they released a Demo "INTO THE PIT" that contains 5 original compositions and arranged chronologically according to the date these compositions were made. This Demo was recorded at Naked Mind Studios in Quezon City and mixed by Alfred Bilog on December 2006.
