I am grateful to be a late bloomer finally fulfilling a dream. As far back as I can remember I considered myself to be a singer song writer, recording artist, in the making.........At an early very age I loved to sit with my ear up to the stereo consol so I could listen closely, to pick out all the different instrumentations on my favorite records. Any song that I listened to during the day continued to play through my head at night as I slept. At the age of ten, I started playing guitar, and soon after, I began writing songs.........I never had voice lessons but at the age of 15, I began performing Acoustic/Pop/Folk music with a friend, in a small restaurant on a barrier Island south of Savannah GA. In those days, we covered songs from artists such as, The Beatles, The Kinks, Donovan, Simon and Garfunkel, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Neil Young and Bob Dylan, and added in our originals here and there. Several years later, during late 70's and early 80's I played in a progressive bluegrass band, and a country band. Also, I performed for the Annual Florida Folk Festival for several years........Many of the songs you hear on my My Space Music page were written by me years ago, when I was a teenager during the 70's. I wanted to record in a real studio, but instead my parents bought me a sound on sound, Craig reel to reel tape recorder, and I was in utter bliss for awhile. That first recorder was put to work every night after school for four consecutive years until I wore it out completely!.........It wasn't until 1997 that I was even able to begin recording these songs in a professional manner at a couple of local recording studios, and now I am recording at home, experimenting and learning more about what sounds good, and also what doesn't sound good, as far as the levels and balance are concerned. At present I have only the bare basics, in my studio and haven’t used any computer software for mixing and mastering yet. I record on the 8-track Tascam digital recorder, and do all the mixing and mastering with really passé monitors! Getting a quality sound is difficult in an un-insulated bedroom made studio, where you can hear doors opening and closing, toilets flushing, blow dyers blowing, and my teenage daughter running up and down the stars. You can even hear the TV downstairs and the cars driving by on the road in front of the house! So if you hear blowing horns, or loud thuds, thumps, gurgles, or swishing noises in any of the recordings ... that could any or all of the above! I am recording and producing my first full CD without all the cost of a professional engineer. With each song I learn something new so hopefully there is noticeable difference with each recording........My thanks to Tom, and to My Space Music and to internet radio for giving the independent artist a chance. This is a brilliant idea and the best thing since sliced bread! My ears have beheld the most unbelievable, beautiful sounds right here in this Space! Remarkable! .........Who needs the Corporate Radio Stations?! Once I tried to bring my CD to two different local radio stations to see if they would play my music. One wouldn’t play my music because I told them I had more than one genre. The other just chased me out the door, and their actual words were “How dare you bring that unsolicited music in this station!" Well... now the "unknown, unsolicited, unlabeled artist" is back! Now at least I can be “heard”. Music is music, art is art it. It is what it is!! It no longer matters whether or not it adds up to someone else's expectation; it’s just so fascinating to finally have made it here amongst so many amazing artists here in cyber-world music!! .....All the best and much to each of you beautiful internet musicians! ....................

Lovely work!"....Teri is currently writing and recording all her music in her humble little, recording studio at home, playing all the instruments and vocals herself. Ten years ago, she recorded the tracks, Green Meadows, Different from Me, and the Ocean shore, at a local studio where a drummer and keyboard player were employed. Just to Reach You and Drift Away were recorded at a friend’s home studio, where Teri still played all the instruments and sang all the vocals......................Instruments used in Studio: An Acoustic Washburn Reserved Edition 418 Ibanez Artcore Electric Guitars A Samick Electric Bass guitar A Yamaha YPG 625 Series keyboard A Mini Digital DD55 Drum Set Light percussion instruments C 200 B AKG Condenser Microphone Tascam DP01FX 8-Track Digital recorder M-Audio BX5a Monitors ART Pro Channel Preamp/equalizer/compressor
