I spend most of my days and indeed many of my nights learning all about psychology. I'm working my way through a degree at St. Andrews Uni and hope to use what I'm learning in therapeutic counselling someday. When I'm not completing essays, I like to go out for adventures on my mountain bike, discover new music, play my old faithful guitar and spend time with my cats, fish and Humphrey the Tortoise.
Maurice Gibb - a man who never once failed to make me smile. I heard on the radio that we'd lost Maurice as I sat in our little Fiat and I remember feeling like the world had stopped. I love you Mo - you are never forgotten xxx
Anything 70's and/or beautiful is generally a winner : )My favourite artists include the BeeGees, Madonna and Goldfrapp. Other favourites include: Alisha's Attic, Miss Minogue, Bjork, Hooverphonic, Jesus Jones & Fischerspooner.
I haven't been brave enough to watch Pan's Labyrinth again since my complete & utter breakdown in the cinema after seeing it at the cinema (how mortifying!).Saw 'Sex & the City' last Friday- it was marvellous and wonderful! : ) I'll say no more for those who haven't seen it yet x
Currently loving the new series of Dr. Who!Have also been tuning into Derren's Brown's 'Trick of the Mind' and 'Shrink Wrap'
Last night I finished a book called 'Waterlog' by Roger Deakin - it's taken me about 9 months and several 100's of bus-travelled miles to get to the end but I'm proud and would consider that progress as I don't tend to get all the way through many 'just for fun' books now that I'm on my degree.A wonderful diary kept by a curious and observant swimmer as he travels Britain and swims in our lost lakes, pools and along the UK coastline.
Barry Gibb - for being such a complete gentleman when I went over to chat to him one rainy day on the Royal Mile, Edinburgh. Barry was polite enough to stop for a chat in the pouring Scottish rain. Add to that a kiss and a hug, and I walked away with a face that said it all.
