Allan has been singing and writing music for most of his life. In the 1970's, at age 19 he recorded his first album at Cleveland Recording. In 1975 he performed at the Lakeshore club in Euclid, Ohio with his first band the Friendly Persuasion. The next band that Allan was lead singer for was The Music Ensemble.After two years, he formed his own band called Moondance. Moondance played many of the upscale night clubs in Ohio. In 1980 Allan left Cleveland to pursue his music career on the west coast. In 1981 he became Director of Entertainment for Sambi of Tokyo In Downey, California. He performed their seven nights a week backed by a 3 piece band. In 1982 he left Sambi's to perform at the Aladdin and the Sahara in Las Vegas.For the next couple of years Allan went back to California to perform in Los Angeles. In 1984 Allan took a new direction and pursued songwriting. In 1986 he moved back to Cleveland to write and perform, and taught voice and songwriting at The School of Fine Arts in Willoughby Ohio. In 1993 Allan became a BMI publisher (Allan Bradley Music) and released his first compilation CD on ABL records. To date Allan has written over 200 songs many of which have been recorded and released nationally and internationally. He is actively composing songs for many non-profit organizations like The Ronald McDonald House and Vanished Children's Alliance.Allan's most current non-profit composition is "Winning the Fight" for the Relay for Life/The American Cancer Society. Allan recently finished producing singer and songwriter Bree Noble's CD "Healing Waters." The song "Be Your Own Hero" written by Allan and lyricist Dianne Baumgartner was just recorded by vocalist Astridvox.
