besides wanting to some day host a tv show or market/ promote surfing competitions around the world, or something cool of that nature, i like being spontaneous. i like to stand out. i can guarantee I will make you laugh. I'm not cocky, I just joke. i love being surprised. i talk on my cell phone when i drive. i've never snowboarded but i really want to. my best friend says I'm a dork. i'm a sucker for kisses on my fore head. i love romance & snuggling. i like laying in hammocks and dessert after dinner. i like waking up and discovering i can sleep for another few hours. I like bon fires on the beach. i like people who play guitar especially when they are playing for me :). i take naps around the fireplace. i like peanut m&ms and coca cola commercials. i like being creative. i hate goodbyes. i love being hugged. my favorite color is red. i like watching movies when its snowing/raining. i like to see the good in everything no matter how much it sucks. i like laughing but the greatest feeling in the world is making people laugh & having crazy ideas-because the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world-are the ones that do :)
Out of obedience, I stepped out in faith & started a cause, a project to bring water to seven hope centers in Africa. Calling this project Quench the Thirst, I am nothing but a resource, someone with a passion for something more. Without God I am nothing...
The first of the seven projects is among the Mutulu tribe in Kenya. They are a community of 5,000 living in
the south eastern region of Kenya. With limited water access to sometimes none, this tribe struggles to find a clean water source safe enough to drink. Thirsty and desperate, women and children walk for miles to get water often times running into hand-dug springs contaminated with all kids of parasites and bacteria. Despite the risk of cholera and other serious illnesses tied to drinking still water, they fill up their 1 liter jugs and walk back to their village. This task is repeated several times until the community water tank is full. The water supplied in the tank does not last very long and each individual receives only a half a cup of water to last them an entire day. The distance between them and a clean water source is great. The distance between them and us is greater but there is no distance between them and the love God has for them. Join with us in this mission to bring water to the
