"RECOGNEYEZ" Armed with ambition and strength, Rap/Hip Hop artist Recogneyez (born as Ledon Carroll) has a story to tell. The 27 year old has been in the game for many years. Born in Southeast D.C. and raised in PG County, life has been anything but sweet for him, from having a rough fatherless childhood to being hungry and homeless living in a car. Recogneyez had a dream and is determined not to lose sight of it. He says ”I had it rough and still do but who says life is easy, you got to go for what you want and let nothing stop you.” When Recogneyez was a kid he was always into music. Artist that inspired him were LL Cool J, Eazy E, Tupac, Jay-Z and many more but the person who inspired him the most was his Uncle Troy. Troy started a group called “SunnySide” which consist of Recogneyez and various family members. He says” My uncle introduced me to music and I fell in love wit it and that’s the reason I’m still in the game.” Recogneyez has done various shows all over the M.D and D.C area, creating a buzz. He has opened for Hip Hop Super group “Clipse” and has worked with artist like Hunit Grand of yung boss music group and Super producer jfk(fresh kicks) ,Hank Via,Frank mugga and more . He has featured on many mix tapes throughout the area. He is the CEO of “Johndoe Entertainment” and also partners with “K-TOWN MUSIC GROUP.” He has many artists under “Johndoe” such as Lyrik (The Co-CEO) He also produces and engineer for many artists. He has his hands in a little bit of everything and he’s looking forward to giving the industry something new and hot

MY BROTHER DAMIEN MEBANE WAS HIT BY A CAR CROSSING THE STREET COMING FROM A LIL WAYNE CONCERT IN NC AROUND 12AM. THE GUY THAT HIT HIM FINALLY STOPPED HIS CAR AND REMAINED INSIDE UNTIL THE COPS CAME, INSTEAD OF GETTING OUT AND CHECKING ON HIM. THE COPS DIDNT CHARGE THE DRIVER WITH ANYTHING!!!!!! THEY LET THE GUY GO!!!!! MY BROTHER IS IN THE HOSPITAL IN A COMA STRUGGLING FOR HIS LIFE. HE IS ON A BREATHING MACHINE AND HAS MANY TUBES HOOKED UP TO HIS HEAD AND BODY.THE PICTURES ABOVE IS ALOT BETTER THAN HOW HE LOOKED THE FIRST 2 DAYS OF THE ACCIDENT. THE DOCTORS HAD TO REMOVE PART OF HIS SKULL BECAUSE WHEN HE WAS HIT HIS BRAIN SHIFTED AND STARTED TO SWELL, SO TO RELIEVE THE PRESSURE THEY HAD TO DO SERGERY RIGHT AWAY. HE HAD OVER FIVE BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS BECAUSE A BIG GASH IN HIS LEG THAT HAD TO BE PACKED. HE HAD NO BROKEN BONES JUST SERIOUS HEAD TRAMA. MY FAMILY HAS BEEN AT THE HOSPITAL FOR THE PAST WEEK PRAYING THAT HE PULLS THREW. THE DOCTORS DID A KAT SCAN EVERYDAY TO SEE IF HE HAS BRAIN ACTIVITY.TODAY IS MY B-DAY AND BEFORE I LEFT THE DOCTORS SAID THEY SEEN SOME BRAIN ACTIVITY AND WHEN I WENT BACK TO TALK TO HIM HE BEGAN TO MOVE HIS FINGERS A LIL BIT AND MOVED HIS SHOULDER BUT HE NEVER OPENED HIS EYES BECAUSE HE IS STILL IN A COMA. I BELIEVE PEOPLE IN COMA'S CAN HEAR YOU, BUT IM ASKING THAT IF YOUR READING THIS PLEASE PRAY FOR MY BROTHER. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS AND GOD WORKS MIRICALS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
UPDATE ABOUT MY BROTHER 01-06-2009
TODAY THEY SAID HE HAS (pneumonia) I THINK THATS HOW YOU SPELL IT BUT ANYWAY HE STILL HAS A FEVER AND HIS LEG WOUND IS INFECTED SO THEY HAVE TO RECUT IT,CLEAN IT AND RE-PACK IT AGAIN. HE IS STILL IN A COMA AND EVEN IF HE DOSE WAKE UP THEY ARE GONNA KEEP HIM IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 6 WEEKS TO MONITOR HIM. HE IS STABLE RIGHT NOW AND A LIL BETTER THAN THE FIRST DAY BUT HE'S NOT OUT OF THE CLEAR SO PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR HIM. THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY THAT HAS REPLIED AND PRAYED FOR HIM!!!!
