About Me

Just relocated to the Poughkeepsie area w/ my girl. So far so good on that front. Need to find a job soon so I won't get arrested for vagrancy when I go out. I am a unique person with a wide variety of interests. I have an open, inqiring mind and I seek the company of like-minded souls. I am extremely passionate and opinionated about music, because the songwriting process is my art. Due to the fact that I actually know the minute details of how a song is made, I can be nasty if it is done halfassed. I love to debate and argue over anything, so if you want to chat about something that is worth arguing about, drop me a line. In addition to the above, I am at times a total goofball. I love all things ridiculous and silly. With all that other stuff clanging around in my brain, the humor keeps me from going nuts. Oh, I love the smell of coffee, but don't like to drink it.

My Interests

MUSIC. A guitar player extrordinaire who writes a ton of songs. Also heavily into MMA (mixed martial arts), big into kickboxing and jiu jitsu. Weight lifting is cool too. Big reader, love movies, especially fucked up dramas and ridiculous comedies. Interested in all things metaphysical, and supernatural. Have a couple of tattoos, and I can't wait to get more. Latest obsession: genealogy

Anyone cool and interesting. Anyone who i havent seen in a while. Just lookin for more people to hang with. Also, Smart people who have convictions about things other than monday night football or shopping.

I am musically bi-polar. Beatles one minute, pantera the next, and everything in between. The only stuff I really cant stomach is cheesy pop punk, britney(and the like) and a lot of rap. I love World Music also. Ahhh... the infamous idiot box, domain of such masterpieces like Friends, reality TV, and annoying news anchors. People, beware the hypnotic power of the idiot box...it might claim your brain and render you utterly useless to society!!!!!

Books:

History books, Mythology,Biographies, Leon Uris novels, Tolkien, Magic/Metaphysical books. Romantic era poetry, Russian Lit, Edgar Allan Poe,Stephen King. I have been on a big Biography kick lately.

Heroes:

Randy Couture, Lou Gehrig, Charles Barkley, Geoffrey Canada, Mike Bloomberg. I admire people who have strong beliefs and see the importance of "spreading the wealth" and making the lives of others better by actions and by example.
