The Muses have been engaging audiences with their all-vocal prowess since 2001. This three-woman a cappella powerhouse performs an eclectic mix of material. Their repertoire includes original compositions, traditional Celtic and Appalachian songs, spirituals, soul numbers and songs from around the world. Blending their voices into perfect harmony, the Muses create a rich tapestry of sound.
Based in Asheville, North Carolina, the Muses have performed at clubs, festivals, radio stations and weddings. The release of their first CD, Angel (2003), extended their fan base far beyond the borders of their home state. The Muses are delighted to have just released their second CD, Celtic Hillbilly Soul (2007).
