Becca Palm graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington with a BFA in jazz theory and composition. In 1999-2000 she took the PNW Film Scoring program with Hummie Mann and in 2004 completed her certifications as a Protools recording engineer.Becca writes original lyrics and music in a variety of genres. She's written theme songs for Universal Pictures and the King County Library System, and in 1999 was recognized as a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Contest. She has collaborated on dozens of songs and in 2004 was pleased to have one of her collaborations "Of This World" released by Peter, Paul and Mary.Becca also writes, records and performs her own music and has enjoyed helping a number of aspiring artists do the same. She has 2 children and lives on the eastside of Seattle with her husband Craig. Becca has been a Rotarian for 8 years and is the artistic director for Genesis Global Spiritual Center. She finds these both fulfilling avenues for giving back to her community and world.
