Music has always symbolized a strong way to express oneself, a common language bonding people everywhere. Nowadays this magic thing wouldn’t happen if there wasn’t some people’s desire to surpass the language boundaries using a very simple way: the art of combining the sounds. One of the people who considered that this was the most beautiful possibility to address everyone is LIVIU SANDU IONUT, born in the city of CONSTANTA, on November 13, 1977. As a teenager he discovered the harmony of sounds and became interested in mixing the styles most wanted at different parties. Soon he started playing music at private parties, learning how to draw audience by mixing different beats without affecting the main melodic flow. This was the first step as a DJ and the beginning of a great passion. In 1995 he stands at the desk of DISCO NOROC, a club in MAMAIA where he seizes the chance to test and improve his abilities. He becomes more and more familiar with the audience’s preferences in different hits of the time. Two years later he plays music in DISCO SIEMENS, in MANGALIA city, leaving a personal mark on every night’s play list for three years. Then he does the same as a DJ in many clubs along the resorts of the Black Sea Coast, such as DISCO ICEBERG in EFORIE NORD and DISCO CASINO in EFORIE SUD, practicing his abilities and becoming a good MC. In 2000, now known as DJ SYLVIO, he begins mixing for five years as a resident DJ in CLUB NEW ORLEANS, where he plays a quality sound, always paying attention to public taste. For DJ SYLVIO, the most important is to make people having a good time, dancing on any kind of music. He mixes along well known names on the clubbing Romanian scene: DJ LIVIO, DJ PASCAL, and in April 2004 he does the warm-up for an international DJ, FERDINAND LIJNKAMP, member of the Dutch band BORN II FUNK. 2005 is the year when the owner of the NEW ORLEANS CLUB sets up the IBIZA CLUB in MAMAIA for the many tourists in the summer. And the best to ensure a great sound is DJ SYLVIO, who in short time does the warm-up for DJ MAXI JAZZ, founder of the famous British duo FAITHLESS. Nevertheless, time bounces so in 2006 DJ SYLVIO stands at the desk of CRUSH, one of the most fashionable clubs in CONSTANTA, and he manages to attract and energize the audience. For DJ SYLVIO, a lively club is one in which the atmosphere arouses the senses, making the people feel careless and free. It needs pulse and the one who makes sure that this pulse never stops is the DJ. Throughout 2006, along SYLVIO mix Romanian and international DJs such as VALI BARBULESCU, DJ PROFESSOR,DJ ANDY, STEREO BLASTERZ, LES SCHMITZ (resident of CLUB AMNESIA in IBIZA), JOHN CREAMER and last but not least DJ DIVA. Like most in this branch, DJ SYLVIO wants to enlarge his experience by improving his work and joining big names on the clubbing international scene, always guided by his motto: “Everything I do I do it with passion, and I like seeing people of all ages enjoying themselves.
