Layout Created at KillerKiwi.net Heidi Elnora is back in her hometown designing couture gowns. Since moving home to Birmingham, Heidi has opened her first couture gown house. Some of her gowns are featured exclusively in Alabama Weddings Magazine and The Knot. Before her return to Birmingham, Heidi designed children’s clothing for four years for Carter’s in Atlanta after graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (majoring in fashion design) from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. While at Carters she worked on the JOY (Just One Year) line, which can currently be found at TARGET. While working at Carter’s, Heidi auditioned and was selected to be a contestant on Season 2 of Bravo’s Emmy nominated fashion design reality competition, Project Runway. Publications such as The New York Times, USA Today, Elle Magazine, and TV Guide and television broadcasts such as The Big Idea on CNBC, NBC 13, FOX 6, have highlighted Heidi Elnora and her designs.
