Thank you.Ok, I figured it was about time to update my profile since there have been a few changes recently. However, some of my interests still include camping, gardening, cooking, reading and basically just being outdoors. My passion, however, (other than my grandchildren, family members and friends) is in the wolf rescue work that I've been blessed to have cross my path of life. I've rescued appx 35 wolves in various locations of several states, taken them to the vet for visits and all that entails (physicals, shots, dewormers, one even had to be shaved because his hair was so matted when I got him. he looked like an overgrown poodle. lol), nurse them to excellent health and adopt them out to good homes. All expense is mine, not that of anyone else. These gorgeous animals are each and every one given to good homes, to good people who have researched wolves, know wolves, and have a deep love for the animal at no charge. Those who want a wolf so they can say, "hey, look at me, i own a wolf. aren't i cool?" well, those are people I care nothing about meeting when it comes time to place a wolf in a positive environment. I do have four wolves that are my big fur-babies and spoiled rotten...an Arctic male, a 1/2 Arctic, 1/2 timberwolf female, and 2 who appear to be timberwolf. In addition to them there's my minature pomeranian who's older than dirt but tries to keep the others in line and can be quite comical at times.(UPDATE:he was 16 y/o and died in june '07) I WILL have a wolf refuge or some type of wolf sanctuary one of these days in the not too distant future. I am very easy going and hard to anger but do have a boiling point just like anyone else. It just takes longer for me to reach that point than alot of other people I have come across in life. I don't like people who present themselves as something they're not. Life is way to short for the b/s game playing...or maybe I'm just getting too old to tolerate it anymore. I moved back to my old hometown in Oklahoma 4 yrs ago to see about my mom. It was time. Lord knows she's been there for me and now it's my turn to be there for her. Luckily I live right across the street from her. I love meeting people so please feel free to drop me a line!
