Mixdown Recording Studios is a professional music production facility located in Yonkers, New York. Established in 1990, M.R.S. features state of the art production tools and world-class hardware in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Mixdown Recording Studios features a Digidesign Pro Tools HD system running on an Apple dual 2GHz G5 computer. We boast equipment racks filled to the brim with some of the greatest studio gear in the industry, including front end and outboard processing by Avalon, Manley, Universal Audio, Vintech, Eventide, T.C. Electronics, Digidesign, Akai, Moog, Empirical Labs, JoeMeek and dbx.
At the heart of our studio is a 56-channel British-built analog console for the ultimate Mixdown experience. Our carefully designed control room and accurate high powered monitoring system ensures that your music will sound just as good in your car as it does on our “Big Boysâ€.
