A self taught guitarist who started at 13, playing both electric and acoustic, developing an acute hearing and music knowledge through the listening of people such as; Larry Carlton, Pat Metheny, John Mac Laughing, Roben Ford,Miles Davis,Lui Prima.In 1985 he set off to England from his home town Naples (Italy) to broaden his mind and share his Mediterranean sounds with the multicultural musicality of the London scene. Since than Francesco has played and collaborated with numerous talented musicians and worked on various projects for other artists like music festivals and recording sessions.As a fluent improviser, he has performed in thousands of venues around London and England; also, he played in a duo with John Enderson and Giorgio Serci in several locations such as the Jazz Cafe, Pizza Express, Dean street (London jazz Festival), Paparazzi Cafe' (South Kensington) and the Winter Garden in Blackpool. He has also been in duo sessions with Antonio Forcione at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival. Further, he has been part of a Latin pop group, featuring members of the Jamiroquai band and was live on stage at "Atlantis" in Piccadilly Circus.Besides playing studio sessions for recording artists such as Lee John- band leader of Imagination-, Joanna Eden-A Little Bird Told Me-. he performed in America(Dallas) with Brazilian guitarist Manoelito Martin as well as in many Polo Clubs in London where parties were organized for members of the Royal Family, e.g. Prince Charles! While developing his own style, Francesco played intensely with various talented Spanish and Eastern European gypsy musicians for many years.Musicians like John Edridge, John Paricelli and Michele Cea were inspirational in his exploration of new concepts of playing the Classical nylon 6 string guitar. Francesco feels privileged to say that he has collaborated and performed with the following musicians: Antonio Forcione, Joanna Eden, Giorgio Serci, Michele Cea, Octavio, Matteo Saggese, Luis Mejia, John Henderson, Fredy Malfi, Luis Felipe Giraldo, Max Puglia, Anna Pietrusinka, Marcie Castro, Bill Beach , Kelly Broadway, Sandra Mandela, Maurice Moore, Francesco Piombino, Leee John (Imagination), Paolo Del Vecchio, Gretchen Marsh, Giampiero Porta, Manoelito Martins, Dominic Flibotte, Roberto Manzin, Kamron Hack,Jean Mc Cormick, Shandelle Cooke, Emiliano Messiez, David Morehead, Anselmo Boles, Andrea Marongiu.Francesco has also been working for "Royal Caribbean International" on its cruise ships for several years and his travelling contributed to get him more inspiration for his music. Last but not least, he has tried his hands on theatre too and acted at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith (London) as part of a performing art project for the Hammersmith and West London College. On that occasion the audience included Prince Charles!Francesco has recorded his first self-titled solo album which includes eleven tracks of his own compositions.He is currently working on his second music project and recording around Europe!
