Hello! Welcome to The Salutation's myspace. We are a traditional friendly boozer located just off Oxford Rd in Manchester. Known as The Sally to the regulars it one of the best pubs in Manchester.
Opening hours: Midday til Midnight most nights of the week but a little earlier Sunday - Tuesday.
What we do:
Drinks: We have a large selection of lagers on draught and in bottles. We also have four cask conditional real ales on tap including Black Sheep, Green King IPA, Bateman's XB and Fuller's London Pride. Wines, spirits, soft drinks and freshly made coffees complete the bevarages on offer. You'd be hard pushed to find something you don't like!
Food: The Lunchtime menu is served Monday to Friday from midday til 3pm offering a wide range of dishes from mains to quick bites. We also currently serve up bowls of hearty stews and casseroles early evening.
Rooms: The Salutation has five recently refurbished bedrooms all complete with en suite bathrooms. We have singles, doubles, twins and a triple from £30 per person per night. Discounts can be given for longer stays.
Parties: If you've got something to celebrate or just want a get together with friends or work mates we can offer a wide variety of catering from a few plates of sandwiches to full hot or cold buffets, roast dinners or all year round barbeques.
Pub Quizzes: We have a weekly general knowledge quiz called the Big Fat Stupid Quiz every Wednesday which offers a £50 cash first prize. You can also test you musical knowledge once a month with Elliot Eastwick's World Famous Pub Quiz. Where do they get the names for these quizzes?
