“Gli Osbourne” is the name of a well known italian tribute-band, that is dedicated to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath of the “Ozzy years”. In english language, “Gli Osbourne” means “The Osbourne”. The band comes from Florence, Italy, and was founded in 1999 by musicians with more than ten years of experience in the hard’n heavy italian background, even if they reached the international notoriety only with the formation of this tribute-band. “Gli Osbourne” have a set-list of more than two hours and an half of duration, proposing the execution of the better Ozzy Osbourne songs. The Objective of this band is to reach the better possible imitation of Ozzy Osbourne: in fact, “Gli Osbourne” bring their imitation to a very good level, both by imagine, vocals and sound.Like the original, even in this band the main component is the singer. Even if everyone must admit that the personality of the real Ozzy Osbourne is inimitable, the singer of “Gli Osbourne”, Paolo Billi, is really capable not only in imitating the vocal aspect with a voice that’s extremely similar to the real Ozzy one, but he also pays a strong attention in imitating the visual appearance, with the same movements and clothings of the real Ozzy. So, if you encounter a person with long black hairs, round red lens on the eyes, clothed in black with a huge cross on the chest, and last but not least, with the SAME voice of Ozzy, who will you think he is ????????Even the other components of “Gli Osbourne” have all the required technical capabilities that a real Ozzy tribute-band must have: and, in particular, everyone can note the strong guitar-playing of Simone F, with astounding capability to recreate the correct sounds and feelings of both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne songs. The rythm section, furnished by Simone L (Drums) and Fabio B (Bass), is also very solid and powerful: and as anyone of our fans can say, this is the right base for a lot of headbanging !!! But this is also the right base for the singer not only to sing, but also to entertain the audience in the same way as only the real Ozzy is capable to do, screaming at the people things like “Move your fucking hands”, “God bless you all, you’re going crazy tonight”, “I can’t fucking hear you !!!”, or “Let’s go fucking crazy, com’on motherfuckers !!!”... and the reaction of people at these words is always assured !!!But, after all, “Gli Osbourne” are not interested in calling themselves as the ultimate tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, like many other tribute-band does. There is only one Ozzy Osbourne, and that's a fact. “Gli Osbourne” are only a very well-done Tribute-Band, and what they’re doing is coming from their hearts. Anyway, the capabilty of this tribute-band in recreating the feeling of a real Ozzy live-act must be seen to be believed, so that this tribute-band has reached a very strong international popularity, with a really huge fan follow-up that is witnessed by the number of visits that the relating internet site (www.gliosbourne.it) has collected in less than one year: over 14.000 visitors since now !!!
