Kevin B. Wright and Chely Jusino in partnership with Tony Blair, bring forth…PROJECT MILLENNIUM. The unification between a world leader, and two authors who came together to take a stand to eradicate Malaria.
Glendale, New York – Wright and Jusino, award - winning published authors, and principle poets masterminded a worldwide book project through the gathering of 21 contributing nations. This spectacular effort began as just an effort to raise funds for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, and grew to take on an issue that was nowhere on the agenda of both the literary and political world. Through various genres, forms and styles of writing, we are reminded that we are not powerless in the face of human tragedy.
Beyond the stellar line up of writers, the book also includes facts on Malaria, and questions and answers for those who want to know more about this disease. In addition, Project Millennium's goal is to ultimately raise over one million dollars for anti-malarial medicine, treated bed nets, and spread awareness of Malaria.
Project Millennium is the first book of its kind to change the global political agenda, and realized a collaboration of international poets can change the world. Some of the countries that committed to the cause include: The United States, The United Kingdom, Africa, China, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Ireland, France, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Poland, Norway, India, etc.
About The Authors
Kevin B. Wright is a poet of English and Scottish extraction. He has written more than a 1000 romantic poems, has been credited numerous honors for his literary excellence, and is the author of four books. In addition to his awards and achievements, Wright continues to give his time and talent to help those in need.
Chely Jusino is a Brooklyn born poet and novelist, and the originator of the pop culture style…Couture Poetry, which is often set in an artful fashion of prose. She is also an author of children books, fiction, and works as a speech therapist, as well as volunteers for charity organizations.
