There are many publications out there that provide a glimpse into Seattle’s (and Puget Sound’s) bar, restaurant, and fashion culture, but none of which that do it with a style and integrity that we would tend to expect. So it was only a matter of time before such a publication became a reality. For years we have lived in this great city, and have longed for a magazine that would not require sifting through political jargon and tasteless material to find a listing of a decent place to eat with friends, family, or a significant other.
So, we finally gave up looking and decided to create our own magazine. First and foremost, the quality and feel in your hands was our main priority, much like a major fashion magazine, but with a down-to-earth realness of a local newspaper. We also wanted the pictures to beam the colors and richness of the people and places we encounter everyday. Therefore, we created DList Magazine (Dress, Dine, Drink, Dance).
We want to bring you a new point of view of many of the things that make this city one-of-a-kind. We will bring you restaurant reviews that will focus on the imaginative people cooking and serving your food. We will show you cutting edge and exciting bars and bartenders serving up the inventive drinks that make Seattle one of the country’s top mixology cities. We will also spotlight many local boutiques and designers that are pushing the fashion envelope. Along with this we will also keep you up to date with what’s going on with special events in our “Dates†section, keep your eye on what’s hot in nightlife with our “Destinations†section, and of course bring you the soon to be famous “DListâ€, a monthly list of what’s tops in the city.
You can also use this magazine as a complete guide to the city. A detailed “Directory†of many of Seattle/Bellevue/Tacoma’s hospitality businesses will be listed in an easy to read catalog.
We hope you enjoy reading DList as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing it to you.
