About Me

Carol Simpson is a singer/songwriter with a high stage presence and universal appeal to a wide, diverse audience. As a young girl, she sang in her hometown of Los Angeles in such renowned theatres as the Greek and the Ahmanson. Her influences range from classical, jazz, African, Brazilian, to Contemporary R&B. She plays guitar, arranges on keyboard, and has many years of professional dance training, including ballet. She is fluent in French, sings in many languages and has performed worldwide. Her CD entitled, "It's All Good," contains singles "A Man Like You", "Hey Brown Eyes" "Can't Get Up (From Your Love", "Happiness", "Cut You Loose", "People of the New Millennium", "Ode to Joy,Hiphop" and many other great Pop/R&B tracks. Her interests in general are: life, meeting people of courage, passion and conviction who want to make great music and great things happen, reading, writing, dancing and singing and most of all to create a brighter future for young people, inspiring them to dance, sing, rap and write their own messages of hope and joy.
