Blame It On Cain: "Give Me Money" LIVE 1/24/09
Uploaded by FatCat_Radio Cain Reigns
Blame It On Cain formed in the outskirts of Milwaukee in January 2007. The all-original quartet's straight-forward hard rock and pop songs have been compared to acts like Stone Temple Pilots and The Smithereens. The band cut its 'live' musical teeth playing opening slots for local bands, but really caught attention during an acoustic gig with Brian Vander Ark of the Verve Pipe, in summer 2007. Cain even sat in on a couple of songs with the multi-platinum selling artist.The fans desire for a full-length album became apparent after Cain released a handful of promotional singles to various internet music sites in 2007. The band scored a Top 5 hit on Broadjam (www.broadjam.com) and a Top 20 hit on the Australian mp3.com (www.mp3.com.au). The singles also caught the attention of several internet radio stations, like the award-winning FatCatRadio (www.fatcatradio.com). Cain has also made numerous appearances and has been a featured artist on local rock radio station, 97.3 'The Brew'.On April 12, 2008 - the band released the 10-song CD, "Rhythm Schism". The album is a collection of tunes the band has played in local venues to Cain's ever-growing fan base, dubbed 'Cainiacs'
. The initial shipment of the CD SOLD OUT at the internet store CD Baby!In August 2008, one of their songs was released on 'Double Talkin' Jive' - a collection of Guns 'n Roses cover songs & originals by unsigned acts like BIOC. The Versailles Records release is available nationally. Blame It On Cain is made up of veterans of the local and regional music scene: Sam Boettcher (vocals), Steve Draganchuk (guitar), Jim Lorino (bass) and Al Sumner (drums), who are looking to spread the songs of the band to an audience across the globe.

Any of the Godfather series (including 3 – not that bad); Gangs of New York; Spinal Tap; John Adams (the HBO series); 300; LA Confidential

FAVORITE MOVIE(S):

REGULARLY WATCHED TV SHOWS (CURRENT): Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother

FAVORITE TV SHOW FROM THE PAST: VH1 Bands Reunited. Someday, BIOC will be on there!

SAM IS: A prolific lyricist whose on-stage persona is really starting to reveal itself. He's the chocolate coating of BIOC.

STEVE IS: Amazingly humble for a lead guitar player. Amazing creativity. When I grow up I wanna be just like him. Only without the curfew. He's the chewy, noughat at the center of BIOC.

AL IS: Part of the witness relocation program. I'm the nut.

JIM IS: Not going to like the BIOC initiation ceremony. Due to insufficient data, until further notice I'll say he's the caramel of BIOC.
