BAND BIO:
CROSSBREED is an Industrial/Metal/Electronica band from Tampa, Florida, U.S.A. They are best known for their original music and dynamic, electrifying live stage show with Black Lights, Sparks, black light reactive make-up & high energy stage presence. Their first U.S. album, "Synthetic Division" was released in May 2001 by Artemis Records. They toured in support of the CD w/ Rammstein, Godhead & Static-X. The video for their single "Underlined" was played on MTV2 & MTVX. It was nominated for a Billboard Award for best new band. Artemis chose not to release the album overseas, possible because of 9/11 and its effect on the music industry at that time. In 2003, Crossbreed parted ways with Artemis & continued to write songs. They released their self-produced limited edition EP, "New Slave Nation" in July 2005 & supported it with the "Music for Freedom" Tour w/ co-headliners Mushroomhead & Dope. They also toured w/ Mushroomhead in the same year on the Halloween & Christmas tours. They have also toured with Orgy, Nothingface & Deadstar Assembly as well as opening for Mindless Self Indulgence. At the present time, they are in the process of negotiating with a label and expect to release their new CD in early summer 2007 with a tour of the U.S. in support of the album. They are also hoping to release their first album, finally, overseas, including Australia; when that happens they will tour in Europe & Austalia...so let's hope it will be very soon!
