Their impeccable reputation and execution based track record creates a signature statement in the dynamic climate of the game. Each CHIEFS portfolio reflects creativity matched by tactful innovation. Their professional pool ranks from seasoned to entry level executives, recording artists, and DJS, and they represent a rainbow of career fields from, but not limited to; Marketing, Advertising, Sales, Management, Business Administration, Finance, Journalism, Media (Television, Film, Print, Online), Publicity and Public Relations, Sports, Real Estate, Legal, Production, Publishing, Design (Web, Fashion, Graphic), Photography, Education, Promotions, and Development. The concept of the CITY of CHIEFS was developed by urban marketer Kay Konnect, an industry "connect" who saw power in numbers and what key contacts in a concentrated community could bring if they gathered their resources and developed a plan of action. She saw the results of exclusivity and what the weeding of spectators who were more impressed with the glamour of the game, verses the grit could produce; clarity."The CITY of CHIEFS was born from Friday nights hanging out in NYC with various shakers in the entertainment business that didn't have an outlet, but wanted to mingle with like minds. The goal was just to call 30 or so industry friends to meet at a bar once or twice a month." Grassroots is a hell of a tool, in a matter of weeks the buzz got out, and each CHIEF began to RSVP another. Eventually the anticipated number of 30 guests spawned to just over a hundred.â€"CHIEFS are business trendsetters, and because they influence the decisions of the masses it is imperative to create a community platform where the vitality of their businesses can thrive, and where they can continue to
make progressive operational moves. That is the definition of power."The CITY of CHIEFS exclusive invite only monthly mixer which stirs at various locations was created to infuse relationships and cross promote CHIEFS activities on the business front while adding a social slant. "This is not a traditional networking party, where half the guests show up to show up, with their disconnected 2ways, and an empty portfolio of experience. The people we invite to the CITY of CHIEFS mixers make a dent, if not total the game."The CITY of CHIEFS monthly mixer is unique because the event is based off a tracked referral system. The mixer survives off staple CHIEFS extending invitations to tastemakers in their realm of business. "This new way of mixing with a controlled business community is refreshing to corporate sponsors who want to brand new products, ideas, or services to key entertainment industry contacts," notes Kay Konnect.
