As musical director of Glass, he worked with James Morrison and other award winning musicians including Aron Ottignon, Jonathan Zwartz, Gerard Masters, Tom O’Halloran, Haydn Walker, Eddie Bronson and many others.The last year and a half has been spent touring on the road with The Potbelleez after their massive success with the song “Don’t Hold Back†which Ilan co-wrote, sings and plays that unforgettable acoustic guitar lick.The track spent an incredible 17 weeks at No.1 in the ARIA dance charts and 29 weeks in the ARIA Top 40 singles chart. Plus a Finalist in a UK Songwriting Competition in 2005 and was nominated for Best Jazz Song for MusicOz 2005.Ilan also produced music for TVCs such as Mitsubishi, Panasonic, McDonalds, KFC, Coke, Lifesavers, Royal Blind Society, RYO, Mentos, Telstra and NSW Tourism.Right now he is working on the next potbelleez album with the rest of the gang.
