Band Members: Ricky Glowacki - 8th September 1983Ricky graduated from Bodywork Company Dance Studio’s in 2004 after 5 years of intensive training in Dance, musical theatre and rock. Ricky has been in professional shows all over the world since graduating, including lead male vocalist aboard the “Queen Elizabeth II” and Lead male aboard Japans flag ship “M.S Asuka”. After travelling the world he was snapped up by “Buddy-The Musical” to tour the U.K and Denmark as “Ritchie Valens”, rock ‘n’ rolling crowds for over 10 months. After being a backing vocalist for “The Jane McDonald Tour” Ricky decided to work extensively on his own material, learning the art of digital recording and musical arrangement. After many successful years in live theatre playing parts such as “Eddie” (The Rocky Horror Show), “Roger” (Rent) and “Tony” (Saturday Night Fever), Ricky’s voice has grown to a strong rock tenor and he now feels he’s ready to entertain crowds with his own music and pursue a life long ambition. Ricky is well suited to any recording atmosphere, after learning the guitar (7 years), and picking up a little on drums, and bass in the past 2 years. At the end of 2007 Ricky thrilled audiences of upto 20,000 poeple with songs from his first album 'A Piece of me' and is currently writing his 2nd album 'Talentless Parade'
Influences: A rock/pop sound sang true from the dark heart of a working class under-dog,bringng award winning vocals to the next big sound, reality sliced with balls and charisma. I have soo many influences from country artists to rock and indie.Off the top of my head I'd say queen is phenominal and his stage performance influences mine.Music wise I guess take oasis and calm it acousticly with Eagle Eye Cherry, throw in some country rock like George Alan and Keith Urban, and you'd be somewhere near to my influences.I'm influenced mostly by life experiences, so I hope ya like my music.
