My interests include making fun of everything, producing short films that make fun of everything, and songwriting. I'm not particularly good at any one of these, but I'd like to think that I at least try hard... sort of.
For all intensive purposes, I win everything... ever.
If it's top forty, I probably dislike it. I like music that is either really musical or really original. Some of my favs include King Crimson, Primus, Symphony X, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Alice in Chains, anything off of Pearl Jam's "Binaural", anything from Soundgarden's "Superunkown", Mudvayne, Yes, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Days of the New, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Agony Scene and my bro's band Sines of Life (trust me, if they sucked, they wouldn't be listed)
Once again, I prefer movies that don't suck. Automatically, this rules out most Vin Diesel movies, especially including XXX, which was the worst piece of crap movie to ever be vomited onto a big screen. I went to see it twice. I really like movies like Garden State and Little Miss Sunshine. It's kinda nice when a movie maker understands what the word sublety means. Yeah... I realize that I probably spelled that wrong, but hey this is the internet ent eyi dunt haf tue cepel wriet. I know it's besides the point but most people that post blogs on the internet probably can't even read. Take me for instance. I'm just hitting my keyboard right now with a ruler while my eyes are completely glued to the tv screen waiting for the next TBS rerun of "Family Matters" to come on. Oh that Erkel. He cracks me up. So yeah... movies... If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend the movie Crazy People. Good stuff. Anyhoo... TV is the devil. However, I do enjoy the Simpsons, an occasional episode of CSI, or stuff on the History or Discovery channel. (Yes I am one of those dorks that will ACTUALLY sit and watch a 2 hour documentary on rubber or some crap like that). My favorite show of all time is probably Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I'd like to think that I watch things like that because I am interested in them and not because TV just controls me. I'm probably wrong. The End.
