LINUS, a five–piece brand new Belgian band, stands for sweet, melodious and catchy pop-rock music. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tom Olaerts, lead singer of the band, participated in the first Belgian edition of the 'Idols' TV show to discover he'd rather compose his songs in a homestudio environment than take part in the 'Idols' mayhem. A couple of years have passed since and together with Basil Kühne he spent numerous hours in Kühne’s studio composing. Their cooperation paid off as LINUS is proud to present their first album. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ‘Monday Morning’ , Linus' first single (released by Columbia/Sony, before the merger with BMG!!!) sounds as the perfect mix of melancholy and pure sounding pop music and is taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album 'Linus loves Lisa', which has been mixed by Marc François, (who recently worked with two successful Belgian bands: Novastar and Ozark Henry) and will soon be released on I-tunes world-wide.
