Add to My Profile | More Videos Hi all. Name's Martin O' Malley. I've been involved in music now for about 30 years which makes me sound old, but my excuse is I started young. Originally from Dublin I'm now living in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, where I've been for the past 15 years. I've been involved with various artists and bands over the years from trad to folk to rock music, to whatever its turning into these days. Probably a combination of the three. Could call it 'Tralock'. Maybe not. Dosent sound too nice. Anyway, 10 years ago I decided to set up my own recording studio here in Clare and called it 'Malbay Studios'. Around that time I was playing in a trad band called 'Raise the Rafters' and I felt like I needed to do something different. I had been writing a few instrumental pieces here and there and had tried adding lyrics which were not the best, so I decided to hook up with my brother, Gerry who just happened to be great with lyrics. We recorded an album together in 2001 called 'Freeflow', which recieved a great bit of attention. It was a great learning curve in the art of songwriting for both of us. Currently we are working on our second album. This time we're working with different singers which is giving the songs a whole new feel and direction. The main thing we're getting out of the music is enjoyment, so hopefully, as you listen, you'll enjoy it too. Please let me know what you think. Martin
