Pablo a.k.a Vilan has been around 4 quite some time now. He first discovered his Musical talent at age 11, where in school you could find him in the cafeteria or at his vibe-spot under the big tree, singing aloud with his friends also gathered for entertainment.Growing up, vilan knew he wanted to be in some aspects of the music industry, but not sure exactly what he wanted to do confused which career he should pursue. At age 18, vilan was living in the U.S and decided to rapp, mingling with other talented friends creating a venue of opportunities. He later then recorded his first “Hip Hop” song in Jamaica at “Mikey Bennett” studio, promoting the track and received a lot of encouragement. Feeling happy that the people were receptive to his “hip hop flavor” in the Reggae/Dancehall world, he decided to further it, performing at Church events, along side “Shepherd, Devon Sparks & Abijah”.After a few months, vilan realized that rapping wasn’t the best or easy market in Jamaica to promote, so he immediately started working back on his Reggae/Dancehall songs. He lingered at studios, learning more about the music industry and what he has to offer it, worked on a lot of shows being a Lighting Director”, and having the opportunity to interact with other Artist, Selectors and promoters.At age 19 he launched his first Demo CD, promoting it in most geographical areas in his country, and a few minor sounds and big sound “One Love”, requested “Specials/Dubplates” for his version of “In the club” by 50cent & “Remix the ignition by R.kelly”. Since then, vilan has recorded over 100 underground songs and being booked for shows like, “Mico Teacher’s college fund raisin concert, Wolmers High Barbeque, Bomb a Drop, TVJ smile Jamaica, and also performed a couple of nights in the asylum after work jam.On pursuing his music career, vilan attended “Edna Manley College School of arts” doing his Vocal Training and studies, to enhance the clarity of his voice and expanding his mind on musical notes. He is a very humble artist, very versatile in his music, and always working on his Talents.
