About Me

How did the two boys from outer stockholm become the grunting fiend which they are trapped in to this day?It all began in the suburbs of Swedens capital. There were three pre-mature guys, who just like all other boys, where mentally obsessed with the subject of food, alcohol and naked women (no change there). In their hunt for fame and glory (the taste of the female genitals) they tried many different niches, starting out as just regular rockers. Since that didnt helped them much they decided to start a band. You might think that the beast that TME now refers to has always been like it is today, you might be wrong about that.
The first line-up of TME:
Adam Ahlstroem: Shouting and 6-string torment
Anton Swedberg: Background shouting and 4-string pounding
Alex Wahlpitt: Skinbashing, eating and freestyle goofing
Once upon a time, in the beginning of the three boys musical era, they were not physically able to create the musical fusion which they are experts on today. At first it was just ordinary flat punk-rock, something that all the boys held very keen. With influenses like The Clash, Iggy & The Stooges, Dead Kennedys and of course, The (divine) Ramones, TME played straight and fast. They never really achieved their high-flying goals as a punk-band, and although they had a very good time playing Blitzkrieg Bop, they laid their musical carieer to rest for quite a while.
When Anton and Adam picked up two acoustic guitars in 2006, an ignition instantly lit the once outburned fire of TME. They started to write hungry songs about quivering tummys, ancient bistros and greasy consuming. Unfortunately, Alex wasnt hungry any more, so the might TME is now a two piece. Who knows what will happen the two boys, when they spread their troubadourious music around junk-food restaurants around the globe?
