C-Will

Born Corey Williams, this gifted songwriter began his musical career at his uncle's record label New Trend Records. C-Will started recording heavy with the label an a deal was with New Trend Records/Columbia Records fresh out of high school. Ready to make his leap into the music business at 18 C-Will started to record but after getting jammed up and placed on tether for 6 months, he had took a step back. After getting off tether, C-Will and his label were going in two different directions. So with no love lost he went his way and they went there way.After being let out of his contract he did what any other Hungry Mc would do, get on the grind. First thing he did was grab about 10 instrumentals from llyod banks to camron and went to a local studio and turned someone else beat into song format. C-Will's younger brother Jae-R was off at college in Grand Rapids, MI. It took one trip from Jae-R back to saginaw that would make things fall into place. C-Will let Jae- R hear the songs he recorded, and he instantly fell in love with his music. Jae-R already producing music, went and bought some start up equipment and returned home from college that summer to stay. By that time C-Will had recorded over 250 songs, which had grab the ear of Jazze pha, RCA Records, Mos Def, asylum, koch and etc.After years of recording material C-Will got tired of recording and no one hearing it besides him and sending it to labels. C-Will and Jae-R got together and formed Da League Entertainment in 2005."key thing that was important to us was branding so we made sure we placed our logo on everything moving".C-Will got a big pay off in 2007, he released his first real mixtape titled Okay Im Reloaded. The mixtape ended up selling 1173 copies through Michigan with the single chevy bangin that has been played all over midwest and south, and now his second single what it do lil mama is already being picked up by atlanta radio, with also a cosign from pjbutta.com which his songs are featured on the site, and he has never had a rating lower that 4.5 out 5. A big success for C-Will especially since he does around 7 shows a month and is all ready done recording his next mixtape expected to be released this Fall 2009 Titled "Montsa Muzik".
