Ozan Bircan was born in 1976 in Istanbul, Turkey. After the elementary school, he focused on music for his rest of education life. Ozan Bircan continued to study Kemane and folk music at Turkish Music State Conservatory of Istanbul Technical University in middle school, high school, and for also his BA. In 2007, he earned his master's degree from Halic University.After his graduation from the college Ozan Bircan worked as a Kemane artist in TRT (Turkish Radio and Television) between 1996 and 2004 then he worked as a music teacher for the Ministry of Education between 2001 and 2003 at last instructor in Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory between 2004 and 2006.In his home country Turkey and aboard, he performed with various musicians and appeared in stages as a soloist. He performed in worldwide festivals such as International Folk Dance Festival (1998/Italy), 1st Sabah International Folklore Festival (2001/Malaysia), Mersch Festival (2002/Luxembourg). He took place in concerts and workshops. He also performed for a charity to help to the children injured in earthquake, by travelling Japan with Arkadas Ensemble, in 1999.Ozan Bircan has been involved in albums of numerous artists and groups. In the country and international concerts, he has joined TV and radio programs. He has assisted in many films and soap operas' music also directed and trained many music groups. He has been keep working for his experimental studies about construction of Kemane and performing Kemane. He has mostly completed preparations of his first solo album.
