Liv Ya Life (LYL) records was started in 1999 by four friends who had a passion for music and business. LYL’s first project was "I GOT NEXT" by PESO. LYL released “I GOT NEXT†in 2001 and went on to sell 10,000 copies. While working on PESO’s albums, LYL found their next artist GATA. Originally from Alabama, GATA moved up north in 2001 and joined LYL. Now in 2007, LYL consists of 6 artists. PESO (a smooth lyrical genius), GATA (an assassin on the mic), DAME (the prince of R&Streetz) Shonnie (the talented singer and songwriter), R.J (the 9 year old sensation) and our newest member MA-V (pure hip-hop from a women point of view). LYL has their own in house producer in MOSES. LYL is now a movement, we have LYL clothing (able to purchase in coming months), LYL sports, and LYL Entertainment. Liv Ya Life is not only our name but it's what we do.
