My birthplace is the Lowcountry of Beaufort, SC. If you've never dined on Shrimp-N-Grits, Frogmore Stew or Buttermilk Pie, well you've missed some of the tastiest cuisine of the South. And I haven't even mentioned hot homemade biscuits. I love the South, its authors and cities, our slow as molasses culture and speech, along with 'real' Southern hospitality. But I also appreciate other 'cultures'; love to travel and explore rugged or exotic places.Flight has always been an interest, so I began Pilot's training. Could've been the early influence of Sky King, the desire to touch the face of God, or a death wish? Obviously I enjoy the 'deep blue yonder' but I also have a great appreciation for the 'deep blue sea' and all other bodies of water - primarily for whitewatering, boating, jetskiing and relaxing but more often for FISHING!Believe it or not, in spite of my interests I love "girly things";makeup, perfume and nice clothes. I enjoy fine dining, but am just as comfortable eating off newspapers Cajun style, or throwing shells and cobs in a hole thru the table Lowcountry style! Since I grew up with my brother and his rowdy friends, I can watch or play football, ride a cycle and well...we won't mention all the other things...:) Above all, I treasure strength of character, humor and courage in myself, friends and others.
