Piglet is a very sweet boy who was rescued from a very neglectful situation and given a chance to live the good life. Piglet wasnt ever let out of a kennel. He was living in a ton of his own excrementWhen he was first rescued, he had a very bad case of mange. It was so bad that he was almost completely bald. He was extremely malnourished and weak. He has gained 10 pounds in his 2 months of foster care and his coat is almost completely grown in. He will be a beautiful boy someday and is well on his way.He is currently 45 lbs and is approximately 12 months old. His growth was stunted at such an early age that he will probably always be a smaller dog. He loves everyone he has ever met, dogs and people alike. The first time I gave him a rawhide, he didn’t really know what to do with it, but now he is obsessed with rawhides!Piglet learned sit and lay down very quickly (he loves those biscuits!) He is quickly learning OFF and to walk on a leash. He is also good around his food. Piglet loves to play with toys and to fetch the ball and will bring it right back to me. Piglet doesn’t mind receiving a bath, as he has to do weekly. He loves to poke his head in the shower curtain when his foster mom is taking a shower.
