Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you

About Me

I'm a Christ follower. I worship the only true God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I've been chosen, called, and justified. I've been forgiven for all of my sins; past, present, and future. I'm in the process of being sanctified, and will one day be glorified. I am currently living in Italy, volunteering at a school/church in Pachino, Siracusa, Sicily. In my free time I watch TV in English, study the Bible, read, study Italian, and waste time on the internet. I am also slowly trying to make more types of Italian food as I build up the courage. I am getting sick of pasta. I arrived in Italy on July 13, lived a month in Rome where I became certified in TEFL, 3 weeks in Velletri, and then came here. If I don't go nuts, die, or escape before the appointed time, I am supposed to be here for a year or so. This city is bizarre. I am surprised we even have electricity and clean water.
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." -James 1:2-3?
For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
