................POCHÓD MIŁOŚCI / A LOVE PARADE - My old theme here wholly rearranged and dedicated to the great English bassoon player and composer Ms. Lindsay Cooper with love. ................PRZEDNOWEK / PRE-HARVEST - A study in the Polish film music of the Seventies made with use of samples from the Siedlaczek's library and a very personal homage to the Canterbury scene. ................RADOSC / JOY - A joyous take on dub with use of samples taken from Arkadiusz Franczyk's playing. ................ACROSS THE ROCKS - Composed and played in real time by Arkadiusz Franczyk (guitar) and Ireneusz Socha (drums). Recorded and mixed by Piotr Czerny in 2008. ................LECHA DODI - I heard this melody sung at a synagogue in Israel in 2008. It is a 300-year-old tune composed by Chassidim from Debica/Ropczyce area. Lecha Dodi is the well-known Jewish liturgical song. ...............MIASTECZKA / LITTLE TOWNS 2.1v5 - A plunderphonic study drawing upon samples taken from the Sztetlach CD (Dembitzer Music 2005). The poem written and recited by Jaroslaw Lipszyc. ...............6:30 AM - Excerpt from this field recording by Ireneusz Socha was used by Chris Cutler on his "Twice Around The Earth" CD (ReR Megacorp 2004). ...............MARCOWE DEMONY (DEMONS OF MARCH) - A sonic commentary on the 1968 anti-Semitic events in Poland. Samples used include: Szymon Laks, Wladyslaw Gomulka and Marian Hemar. This recording was released on the Swietlicki Radio CD by Lampa & Iskra Boza in 2004. ........................................................BIO NOTE: I live in Debica, Poland. Was a co-editor of "DRUT" (1985-1987) - one of Poland's first artzines. Formed Kirkut-Koncept (1986-1990) - a group performing original compositions bordering on rock song, cabaret, ethnic music and experimental. Took part in many other avangarde Polish groups of the Eighties to name Przestrzenie (art songs, music theatre), Na Przyklad (group improvisation) and Hiena (postindustrial). Released the following CDs: "Microaudioplays" (1998), "With / Without" (2000), "KITS" (2002), "Porzadek : Chaos" (2003), "Sztetlach" (2005) and "Four Years In Pieces" (2007). Collaborates with Jaroslaw Bester, Boleslaw Blaszczyk, Marek Choloniewski, Chris Cutler, Piotr Czerny, Tomasz Duda, Joane Hétu, Tomasz Krakowiak, Jacek Podsiadlo, Raphael Roginski and Yuriy Yaremchuk. Translated into Polish Chris Cutler's "File Under Popular" (1999) as well as his numerous essays on music. In 2000, founded Dembitzer Music.
