Retrotek

About Me

We were all brought up in the countryside, isolated from outside influence, and we listened to the British rave scene grow. All of us were hooked on DJ Easy Groove who's imaginative acid laced techno hardcore sets shaped our musical preferences. As the rave scene grew, this style disappeared, and all the British scene seemed to offer up was emotionless speed-core and as producers were busy pursing boundaries, we were left chasing the genre that had disappeared- it was this that lead us to start producing. With all most no technical no how, and only our obsession to drive us, Retrotek is the result. In 2006 we released a three track 12" to raise the awareness of the genre. http://www.discogs.com/release/860862
