Hi, I'm Bram, but my friends call me Koentje or Koenie. I'm a singer and I play keyboards. I started making music when I was 5, at the age of 6 I started to take lessons in rudiments of music and musical notation. However, being young I didn't enjoy taking those classes, so I quit. Luckily I had a keyboard at home, on which I taught myself how to play the piano/keys. At a certain age I was more into comedy, theatre and drawing and I stopped making music for a while. At the age of 13 I picked up music again and joined a band. When I was 14 I went back to music school and nowadays I'm still taking classes in classical and jazz piano.
I had a band ( That Man's guitar) for 5 years, but we quit some time ago. You can still find info and details about That Man's Guitar on this page.
The songs "Opium"and "candid" were recorded with That Man's guitar, the lyrics were written by Anton Hellemans.
That Man's guitar was formed around 2002 and quit in the beginning of 2008, due to discords.Band members: Ranjith Gryson (battery), Anton Hellemans (bass), Jesse Vanden Eynde (Guitar), Bram De Coene( vox, keys, Harmonica). They tried to create their own style, a style that should unite all the different kinds of music that each of them likes. In this way they created there own sound, which was sometimes psychedelic, sometimes hard, sometimes smooth and sometimes jazzy....something unique.
I'm playing in a new band now, called BRASKK. I joined them in September 2008. We play experimental funk music and we all enjoy it very much.
