The summer is back, Ibiza is calling!
"Circles and Spirals" producer Ismael Diallo has been working on his new album coming out soon. In the same time he started producing tracks together with Dub guru "Razoof". The teamwork was so great that they decided to show up together for a live performance on Ibiza.
And here they are: Ismael Diallo will play saxophone and Razoof will mix the tracks at the "Kumharas - Ibiza" on July 6th 2008. They will perform among others the tracks they wrote together and some of the stuff each one did for his own album.
Already released is the title "Khajuraho" on the new compilation "Feelibiza". "Indigo" from the first "Circles and Spirals" album is featured on "Kumharas Vol.6". Coming out soon on the "Villa Mercedes Ibiza" compilation: "Playa Mitjorn" - Circles and Spirals feat. Razoof.
In April 2008, Ismael Diallo joined the band of Howard Carpendale, a very famous singer in Germany. For his comeback tour, they played in 16 big concert halls all through Germany. Playing for a huge public between 7.000 and 14.000 people was a great thrill! And there is still more to come...

After an exiting month of July playing with some great DJs such as Razoof (Formentera), P.M.F.M. (Deep Dive Corp.)(Ibiza), DJ Malte (Ibiza), Leon El Ray (Germany) it is time now for Ismael Diallo to give a concert of his own... And there he is! For the second time "circles and Spirals" is playing for the "African Dance Night" organised by ENIJE in Düsseldorf.The aim, this time again, is not to let our public relax and dream but to take them to the dance floor with some great mix of house beats and african ethnic sounds, High-Life, Dub, Ragga and Nu-Jazz, and of course the improvised performance of all musicians. "Circles and Spirals" is proud to welcome again two great special guests: Richar Donkor (Ghana) on the Percussion and Emmanuel Essome (Camerun) on the electric guitar.
Biography
A native of France, Ismael Diallo, has established himself as a respectable pop saxophonist on the German music circuit. To his credit are tours with „The Jim Rockford Band“, House-Music duo “Phonk of Future†and “Fonky Silence“ featuring Cosmo Klein, among other well known bands.Since April 2008 he is also plays for Howard Carpendale, a very famous singer in Germany. With the great 12-musicians band, they played already in every big hall in Germany, and there is still more to come!
Ismael has also tested his skills on the Smooth-Jazz scene by joining such acts as „Wave Music Band“. During his stint with the band he was able to play with the likes of Slim Man, Anthony Weedon, Eric Marienthal, and Rick Braun among others.His warm, energy loaded style and versatility have turned him into a much sought after soloist for groove-oriented music. Since 2004 Ismael Diallo has been working as a band leader, composer and producer of his own electronic music project "Circles and Spirals".
