Prophetess Sonya Townsend is well on her way to accomplishing what she believes to be God's calling on her life. Writing the 14 songs on her first album which comes naturally having many styles and forms of writing as well. In the works of shooting her second video, Time, from her debut album, "Full Circle Glory", she is still enjoying compliments from across the nation about the professional quality of her CD and debut hit video, Blessings, which premiered on the PM Wynn Show of The Word Network in the Summer of 2007.Townsend's passion for the hurting souls of humanity comes from her own triumph over the stronghold addiction of alcoholism. Through her annointed music she would like to reach people in spiritual need with solution-based ministry, offering a hands-on approach to evangelism as well as just the teaching of the Word. In her own community in Houston, Texas, Townsend sponsors an outreach to "hurting souls," providing food and other kinds of life-assistance where she feels God has directed."I'm still trying to figure that out!" laughs Townsend when asked what style her music is. A contemporary blend of R&B with an exciting touch of jazz, classical and pop is what the listener can expect when this CD is played, yet no style ever completely dominates the sound.
