I just started kickboxing a few months ago, and I really like it. I realise at my age that the arthritis will probably kick in before I ever get to black belt but I can dream. Love going out with my friends, food, alcohol, music, great night out!
Elvis. Just to find out once and for all why he faked his own death and now works in a burger joint in New Jersey - allegedly. Failing that..I'd like to meet anyone who'd like to meet me..I'm really that shallow.
I like lots of different kinds of music and try to go to as many live gigs and festivals as possible - I don't do the whole festival camping thing tho, am way too high maintenance for that, like my home comforts! This year I will mostly be watching - Sugababes, Levellers, Girls Aloud, Happy Mondays, T in the Park, Elton John, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gwen Stefani, Take That and McFly. Eclectic huh?
I tend to wait for dvd release rather than regularly going to the cinema - the last two I bought were "The Queen" and "Little Miss Sunshine". Very different but loved them both. My favourite film of all time is "Bladerunner" altho I prefer the version with voiceover.
Hmm...most of the time my tv is tuned to Cartoon Network or Jetix, if you need to know anything about the Power Rangers then I'm your woman. Can I stress at this point that it's not my choice and I prefer things like Bones, CSI and Grays' Anatomy. Anything involving unfeasibly good looking Americans cutting into things really.
I favour the genre known as "chick lit". If I'm reading then it's escapism and what could be better for that than boy meets girl, boy likes girl, due to series of misunderstandings boy loses girl, boy finds girl again, boy and girl live happily ever after, sigh.
Bob Geldof and Victoria Beckham. An unlikely pairing I think you'll agree but bear with me. I loved the Boomtown Rats and the humanitarian work that has been done by Bob since then is truly astonishing. The courage of his convictions and the passion to change things just leaves me amazed. As for VB, I think she's very funny and self deprecating, her style isn't my taste but she looks great and has raised three lovely children and stayed happily married in the face of relentless and often cruel press intrusion. I think she has a "fuck you, I'm doing it the way I want" attitude which if you think about it, is not that unlike Sir Bobs.
