About Me

Gregor Schlierenzauer was born January 7,1990 in the bautiful city Innsbruck. He's one of the Austrian ski jumpers and he became very important during this season. The first time when Gregor started jumping in the Worldcup in March 2006 he was on the 24 place. In that summer he competed with the big top jumpers and won two of the competitions and also reached two 2nd and one 3rd places. People noticed that he seems to be such a big talent and they support him as much as they can.The worldcup 2006/2007 became also very successful for Gregor. He won his first worldcup in Lillehammer after that there were many good positions under the top ten and another victory in Engelberg,Oberstdorf and Bischofshofen.Right now he leads after Anders Jacobsen the worldcup. We will see what the future brings and hope to see him as much as possible on top!!!!They have to pay attention to Schlieri, how he's also called, because he's got a lot of potential and didn't show all of it at the moment. We wish him good luck for the WM in Sapporo in a few weeks.
Thomas Morgenstern was born October 30,1986 in Spittal an der Drau in Austria. He began his ski jumping career in SV Villach and when he was 16 year old, he won his first worldcup in Lieberec in 2003.Among four austrian youngsters Thomas was the only one who established in the worldcup in the top ten in that time until now. In the beginning of the 2nd season the family, friends and fans were shocked by him.He was injured badly in Kuusamo but that injury didn't stop him to keep going on.Four weeks later he started in Oberstdorf and reached a 2nd place. Thomas was back and everybody was impressed by him. There were many other highly positions afterwards and so Morgi, how he's called by nearly everyone, reached the 6 place in the end oft this worldcup. After being 3 years in worldcup now,Thomas always failed another first top position. In 2005/2006 everythig changed.Morgi took part in Olympia and won the gold medal from the hill size and also another gold medal for the team (Morgi,Kofler,Widhoelzl,Koch)in torino/Italia.Thomas biggest dream came true exept another victory in worldcup. Some weeks later he won in Lillehammer and got his second victory.Because of some good positions during that time he also won the Nordic Tournament and 25.000 Euro. Right now Morgi tries to improve himself. He's the 5th in the worldcup and had many good positions under the top ten in this season. We will cross the fingers and wish him good luck for the WM in Sapporo in february.
