Volvere

Volvere play sexy, shake your ass, funk punk songs about life’s intoxications that get people moving and listening. The four core members are Mikey (keys, synths, breaks & bleeps), Angie (vocals), David (guitar, bass, lap steel) & Gautier (drums). Two parts Mancunian, two parts French; they’ve blended into their adoptive home of Kentish Town, North London.
Volvere have been playing together as a live band for the last year at hip hop nights, rock and roll bars, electro dives, art deco theatres, a burlesque cabaret bar and private parties. Their fan base has swelled and 200 self produced 4 track CD’s were swiftly shifted over 2 heady, highly praised London gig nights:
