I love doing anything and everything with my family. I love visiting my best friend -- always the best time. I enjoy reading, shopping, communicating with all types of people (sharing view points and opinions), politics, and entertainment (tv, music, movies, etc.)
I work everyday at meeting Jesus Christ -- Oh what a wonderful day that will be. The Lord is hanging around with my mom and dad and so many other very special people in my life. I can't imagine anything better than reconnecting with all those that I love in a better place. The only person I am really interested in meeting here will be that special someone. You might know him. He's been waiting for me all of his life.
I really do enjoy all types of music. Everything has its place and time in history. I can't image a life without music. My family probably is centered around music more than the average family
I love comedy, suspense and drama. If I like a movie, I can watch it two or three times a day. The last movie like that was Wedding Singer (just couldn't get enough). Ashley and Jesse bought me Girl Happy with Elvis Presley as the perfect Christmas present. Could never watch it enough -- I could play all parts in a play. The movie I can't wait to see appears to be a suspense thriller with Jim Carrey titled Number 23. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!!
I love television. But I love my DVR more. I can watch anything and everything on my time frame --- the best invention since chocolate milk. I am really enjoying The Office, My Name is Earl, Studio Sixty with Matthew Perry and now that Idol is back on -- I have a reason to go home again.
I love the entire Left Behind series. All self-help books, any book by Joyce Meyer, cookbooks (Brooke got me a fantastic one by Wolfgang Puck for Christmas) and love stories set under the guise of suspense and thriller. I also received Oakdale Confidential (Brooke got me for Christmas) and can't wait to start that one. Also more magazines than they have in doctor's offices. Love to read!
My mom and dad. Raising a family in very tough times. My dad would get up every morning and go to work. None of that "I don't feel like it". He had the ultimate work ethic -- he didn't enjoy what he did, he didn't get satisfaction from it -- his family need food and shelter. What a man!!! My mom, she stayed home day and night providing a home and comfort for her family -- and that's what she found satisfaction in -- caring and loving her family without all the trappings of "what's in it for me". Maybe that is why our world and our children have turned into savages. Everyone is searching for themselves, for their needs and wants, for their satisfaction away from the home front. Everything we could ever want should be under our roof -- everything else is just second place and not another second of drama should be wasted on the outside garbage -- it's just the way we make our living.
