too much southern comfort.......never!!!

Hello people, my name is Lauren and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I love singing, drinking with mates and occasionally spending quality time with myself. (!!??) Mainly with friends, the odd red wine with some of my closest has been great lately, who cares if you pop a cork at 11am? haha I love my job, I am working and living in Frankston at Williams as the ASM. The girls there are great, Me, Liz, Marnz, Jess and Bree we rock that joint! I am a music freak! I love all types and anything will do it for me! Live would be my favourite, thier music is so powerful and really makes your skin tingle! It hits you where it should, there is a lot of effort, love and spirituality in their music. Ed Kowalzcyk, you are a god in my eyes! There is one song that truly brings me to tears every time I hear it, and its called "The Blowers Daughter", by Damien Rice. It hits me so hard, there is a definite beauty in his music and I connect with that. I'd love one day to write like he does. If you ever get a chance to hear that song, PLEASE DO take some of your precious time to do so. These types of songs can change lives, its an amazing feeling when they change your own..... I love my partner Clinton, he is my precious one! We have so much fun together, and he supports me with everything I do! What more can I ask in a soul mate! We have been together for over 4 years now, I am so proud of that. When we moved in together in October one of the first things we did was adopt our baby cat Gordie. He is so cute, I have pis in my album of him. He is getting pretty big now, he gets into everything! My favourite thing in the world is sleeping in, I absolutely hate rude people, and somehow the natural cancerian in me just wants to hug everyone! (SHARE THE LOVE PEOPLE, SHARE THE LOVE!) My family is the most important thing in my life, along with a few selected friends whom i simply regard as family, (you know who you are!) These people ground me, praise me when I do good, and support me if fuck up! (everyone makes mistakes, I always admit to my own!...please pardon the "f" word!) Things that annoy me are bad drivers (its called an indicator guys, use it!) animal cruelty, terrorism and backstabbers. It pisses me right off seeing these things happen, so much that it literally upsets me at times. I'm not a very confrontational person, although if the time and chance calls for it I will stick up for myself and others. I have St Kilda football club colours in my blood (weird I know) but they are the best and I will take no other opinion on this matter! Go Saints! I did drive a kingswood as my first car, and I loved her. She was an icon in rosebud, not the best looking car in the world, but she was mine, and I owed nothing on her, unlike my friends who went out and got loans to but $10,000 cars. She was given to me from my grandmother on my 18th birthday. I had some of the best times of my life in that car, I swear she had her own mind and enjoyed every minute as much as I did. She is kinda dead now, things slowly started getting old and in the end she was just too dangerous to be on the road. We sent her away to car heaven in September, to be 'looked after' She's probably the size of a rubix cube by now (and a hell of a lot harder to figure out....kinda like me!! haha) But I did take the badges and number plates off her for safe keeping and memories.
