Panjabi By Nature (PBN) is one of UK’s most successful Asian music producers. Hailing from Wolverhampton, PBN’s music has vastly impacted the sound of UK Bhangra. Smash hit tracks such as ‘Jaan Panjabi’, ‘Nain Preeto De’, ‘Nachdi’ and ‘Aaj Me Peeni’, which are by far some of the biggest party anthems to have emerged from the scene, have also positioned PBN as one of the most recognised Brit-Asian producers.
His formula of catchy hooks and heavy beats, blended with UK flavours has earned him the title of ‘the Hit Maker’ and immense recognition and support from the industry. His last release ‘Jaan Panjabi’ reached number one on the BBC Asian Network Chart aswell as independent charts throughout the UK and North America. The track was also one of the top 3 Bhangra tracks of 2007 on the coveted Bobby Friction and Nihal’s Radio 1 show.
With 3 albums and 4 collaborations under his belt, PBN is getting ready to release his fourth solo album – ‘Homegrown’. Due for release in 2009, the album features an array of Panjabi talent, including Lembher Hussainpuri, Miss Pooja, Dippa Dosanjh, Charanjit Channi, Sameera and Apna Sangeet’s K. S Bhamrah. The release is highly anticipated, with high expectations from the hit maker to deliver a fresh batch of dancefloor killers.

PBN has been serving up massive hits and been present in the UK Bhangra scene for quite some years now. He started learning music production and engineering from a young age via a number of local recording studios and through working very closely with one of Beverley Knight’s music producers Keith Dilworth.When he felt that that he had built up his skills, PBN took to producing and creating his own music as well as DJing on the Bhangra gig circuit. DJing allowed PBN to gain first hand experience of the types of music people enjoy and what made party goers dance. This exposure proved valuable with his future releases having gone on to be some of the biggest dancefloor tracks ever.PBN went on to collaborate with one of the leading gig promotion companies of the time - Dhesi Vibes, who later went on to form Limitless Records. In 2003, PBN signed to Limitless Records and released his debut album titled ‘Next Episode’. Following that, PBN released one of his biggest chart topping albums to date titled ‘Settin the Standard’ in 2004. The headline track – ‘Nain Preeto De’ went on to hold the number one spot for over four weeks on the BBC Asian Network chart.In 2005, PBN set up his own recording studio in Wolverhampton and also release his third solo album – ‘Ready or Not’ which delivered another dancefloor hit ‘Aaj Me Peeni’. Since then PBN has gone onto deliver more hits, working with other artists and releasing massive collaborations.Over the years he has collaborated with the Industry’s leading vocalists including Lembher Hussainpuri, Surinder Shinda, Miss Pooja, Amar Arshi, Dippa Dosanjh, K S Bhamrah, Balwinder Safri, Jeevan Maan amongst others. PBN’s music has also taken him all over the world including performances in Norway, India, Dubai, Germany and America.As well as spending time preparing huge beats and dancefloor tracks, PBN also spends some time giving back to his local community by working with young people in and around the West Midlands.
