Quam Libet Records was founded in 2003 to support the Swiss metal scene in all of its varieties.

QLR is active in two areas:
1) the releases of Swiss bands (since 2004)
2) the releases of the HEAVY METAL NATION compilation series, each featuring 18 or 19 Swiss bands.
