yo we have a new page because this one is bleeding internally from a fatal blow to our e-mail account. new songs!
it all started with a plastic toy microphone and a little bag of secrets. later a guitar, harmonium, and an invisible mandolin were added and always a jug of wine. we try to write songs to get gangbanged to. we sing songs that peaches cries to and kimya dawson plays while she reads to her baby. we sing songs that adam green throws up to and that devo can't dance to but tries because they think we're charming. we sing songs about communism when our hearts are broken but our limited vocabulary only allows us to sound like Mirah. we embrace it. we make songs a lot less badass than beat happening and not quite as sad as mazzy star. we write songs with jonathon richman in mind and what comes out sounds strangely like daniel johnston. we like to have fun, be in love, have people like us, make people listen to us, be with the people, sing about the people, drink wine, smoke cigarettes, sing until we like the sound, write songs as the sun rises, drink tea and sometimes share a nerds rope.
