A life layed down in love.I grew up in a little town in Arkansas. Growing up I always had dreams of being a singer and helping those around the world in need. As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a singer and changing the world through music. I would cry when I saw the starvation of the african children on tv and beg my single mom to help them. I cried out to God as a teenager to use me to advance His kingdom, spread the gospel, and be His hands and feet. Now at 24, I am watching as the dreams of a little girl and a big God are being fulfilled.When I was 18, I moved to Nashville, TN where I discovered new places in God through the power of the Holy Spirit. My life was forever changed at a worship meeting with Powerhouse Ministries where men and women prophesied to me about personal relationship issues and my destiny to sing and minister to the nations, specifically in Africa. I was radically delivered, empowered, and filled with the Holy Spirit at that meeting. I began ministering with Powerhouse's prophetic teams and traveling locally and nationally with their worship team.I have been blessed to minister and sing around the world in East Africa, working in slums, refugee camps, children's homes, churches, and schools. Working among the poor and broken, I have discovered first hand the value of joy and simplicity, the beauty of the gospel, and the extravagant love, mercy, and power of my sweet Jesus. I am just beginning an organization called My Father's House (www.myspace.com/myfathershouseintl) to help fund a school that I helped open in February of 2009. The school is called Royal Hope Academy and is giving education to nearly 100 orphans.The cry of my heart is to see the body of Christ walking in the full authority that Jesus bought for us on the cross exercising power over every demonic force, healing the sick, binding up the broken, bringing good news to the poor, and raising the dead. I pray that my little life would be multiplied, as I am in passionate surrender daily to the will of my Father.I also love to listen to life. I love to hear what is beyond the surface. There is a great force within us and beyond all that we see. We can feel it and hear it more intensely in those sacred moments of life when passion swells. It's a sound that makes us look beyond this life and into another world. A world of beauty and love and freedom. We feel it in both moments of great pain and great joy and beauty. It is a sound that lets us know we are not alone and makes us ask questions about life and beyond life. I've fallen in love with that sound, and I've fallen in love with the intense passion of a bridegroom King, a perfect loving Daddy who is in love with me, and a Holy Spirit that swells through this earth speaking love into being. This Godhead is the creator of a sound so beautiful that upon hearing it people fall on their faces, truth sets captives free, and the hardest of hearts are melted by fire love. I've only heard tiny glimpses of that heavenly sound. But I've seen enough miracles to believe maybe it can be captured on this earth for He inhabits the praises of His people. I hope and pray that my music will bring a bit of that other world, heaven, into our current world, Earth, through compassion, understanding, and creating the very atmosphere of heaven, worship.
